1. About these terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nodus Learning website and services ("Service"). By creating an account or purchasing a unit licence, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.
These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for use by qualified teachers and school staff in primary schools in the United Kingdom. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are using the Service in a professional educational capacity.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
School admin accounts grant access to all teachers at the registered school. You must not share your account credentials with anyone outside your school, or use the account to access the Service on behalf of a different institution.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
4. Licences and access
When your school purchases a unit licence, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials in that unit for educational purposes within your school for the licence period (12 months from purchase).
This licence covers:
- All teachers registered at your school
- Viewing lesson slides in your browser
- Downloading planning documents for use in your school
- Attending live CPD sessions associated with the unit
This licence does not permit:
- Sharing materials with staff at other schools
- Publishing or distributing materials online
- Reselling or sublicensing any part of the materials
- Using materials to train AI models or create derivative products
5. Payment and renewal
Unit licences are priced at £99 per unit per year (inclusive of VAT where applicable). Payment is processed by Stripe at the time of purchase.
Licences are not automatically renewed. You will receive an email notification before your licence expires. To continue access, you must purchase a new licence.
All prices are shown in GBP. We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe. We are currently unable to accept purchase orders or school invoicing, but this is planned for future development.
6. Refunds
We do not currently offer refunds on purchased unit licences. Before purchasing, you can view the full unit details — including the complete lesson sequence, learning objectives, and document list — without creating an account.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing content you have paid for, please contact us at hello@noduslearning.com and we will resolve it promptly.
7. CPD sessions
Live CPD sessions are included with each unit licence. Sessions are delivered online in cohorts of up to 30 teachers. Session dates and booking details will be communicated by email after purchase.
We reserve the right to reschedule sessions with reasonable notice. If a session is cancelled by us and cannot be rescheduled within 60 days, we will provide access to recorded equivalent content.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including lesson slides, planning documents, course materials, and website design — is owned by or licensed to Nodus Learning. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
You may adapt planning documents (such as medium term plans) for use within your school. Adapted versions remain subject to these Terms and may not be shared externally.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Circumvent any access controls or attempt to access content you have not purchased
- Scrape, copy, or systematically download content
- Introduce malware or attempt to disrupt the Service
- Impersonate another user or institution
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nodus Learning is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant unit licence.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime.
11. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect purchased licences. If a change materially reduces the value of a licence you have already paid for, please contact us.
